Taoist Lunar Calendar 2023 – Year of the Rabbit

lunar calendar Nov 19, 2022

Size: 12″ by 24″ Wall Calendar

Order now from the Sanctuary of Tao to receive the calendar before the lunar Chinese New Year, January 22nd, 2023. This calendar starts on that date and follows the lunar cycle for the Year of the Rabbit.

This one-of-a-kind calendar combines the various elements of Chinese Astrology and Taoist Philosophy into one artistically beautiful resource designed to be easily understandable for English speakers. The calendar consists of one whole lunar year divided by the twelve new moons, each governed by their corresponding zodiac animal, and the 24 Chinese seasons (two seasons per new moon). The Yi Jing hexagram for the year and each month is given, as well as the animal and element governing each day, which helps determine auspicious dates, calculate the timing of events, and predict the most opportune dates.

The moon’s phases are illustrated to track the waxing and waning of the lunar cycle throughout the year. Important Taoist dates and festivities are also featured. The calendar clearly shows all Gregorian dates so that even someone completely unfamiliar with a “lunar calendar” can easily follow along as one would a regular calendar!

Orders of the physical calendar now include a free download of the PDF version. Members can download the PDF version in the I Ching section of the Membership.
