**Benefits of This Course**

—Deep Understanding of Taijiquan Postures: Learn not just the “how,” but the “why” behind each of the Eight Postures of Taijiquan. This knowledge will deepen your practice and enhance the physical and mental benefits.

—Access to Rare Knowledge: With commentary based on the works of Master Xu Yusheng and Dr. Ceng Zhaoran, you'll gain insights into the original teachings of Taijiquan, preserved and passed down through generations. Some 27 years before Chen Kung and the Yang Family published their Taijiquan books, Master Xu Yusheng (許禹生) published a book in 1919 called Taijiquan (太極拳), which provided the first account of Taijiquan original posture names, many of which were discarded or changed by later authors. In 1964, Dr. Ceng Zhaoran (stylized as Dr. Tseng Chiu Yien, 曾昭然) published a work titled The Chart of Tai Chi Chuan with English Illustration (太極拳圖解, Tai Ji Quan Tu Jie). In this work, Dr. Ceng preserves Master Xu’s text with photographs and English translations. Stuart received these books from Master T.T. Liang in 1984, which were the subject of much review over the years he studied with him.
